Billing can be based on several different measures such as price based on which international standardized office document format (A4, B5, etc.) the document is on. The A4 measures 65 lines of 81 letters on a normal A4-page with commonly used margins. Since this means of measuring text is not very practical, we use the following alternative method more often:

The number of words in the source text is calculated by MS Word or some other text processor. We then provide our offer for the job based on the price word in the source content. When this has been settled by the purchaser we then invoice the whole job by number of words in the source text.
